We wanted to extend the courtesy of advising builders that the building permit fees for Woodmen Heights Metropolitan District will be increasing for 2024. We recommend that you get your payments in by December 31st, starting January 1st, 2024 we will be increasing to the fees as described below.
Pursuant to the Joint Fee Resolution, one-time Residential Facility Fees are imposed in the amount starting January 1, 2024, this fee will increase to $4,584.04 per single-family attached or detached residential unit, and starting January 1, 2024, this fee will increase to $2,750.43 per multi-family. Such Residential Facility Fees are due and payable on the date of issuance of building permit.
Pursuant to the Joint Fee Resolution, one-time Commercial Facility Fees(referred to therein as non-residential Facility Fees) are imposed in the amount of starting January 1, 2024, this fee will increase to $1.10 per gross square foot of any commercial or non-residential building. All such Residential and Commercial Facility Fees are due and payable on the date of issuance of building permit, and are subject to an annual increase of 5% on January 1st of each year, beginning January 1, 2008. “
