Construction Begins April 18th on Black Forest Road
There was a Community Garden located in the Trails of Forest Meadows Park that has recently been converted to a Dog Park instead (see below map for location). This Community Garden was opened in 2018 with little participation from residents. In 2020 we had 1 resident participate in the garden and in 2021 no interest was expressed to participate. Due to the decrease in participation, revenue, and volunteers to help manage the community garden over the years, the Metropolitan District was unable to sustain the operat
Due to low participation and low revenue we were unable to sustain the Community Garden and as of April 2022 the Community Garden has changed into a Dog Park area.

Pesticide Application Notification
May 29, 2020: Off-Lawn Weed Control was completed on the beds and cracks in the Woodmen Heights Metro District by Weisburg Landscape Maintenance.
June 1, 2020: On-Lawn Weed Control was completed at the Cumbre Vista park and roadways, and at the park north of Grand Peak Academy by Weisburg Landscape Maintenance.
June 3, 2020: On-Lawn Weed Control was completed on all turf by Weisburg Landscape Maintenance.
The Walker Schooler District Managers office will now be open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday beginning Thursday, May 28, 2020.
